ONLINE - The Certificate in Expert Witness: Litigation, Support and Testimony is designed to help you develop a clear, in-depth understanding of the role of the expert witness, the required standards, how to manage an expert witness practice, the key elements for successfully writing and defending an expert report, and much more.
There is a significant demand in today's courtrooms and depositions for testimony by expert witnesses who address highly complex technical and scientific issues. The expert's function is to investigate, analyze and reach an opinion that is heard in testimony under oath-via deposition or open court. Judges and juries often rely heavily on such testimony in rendering decisions in highly technical cases.

The Certificate in Expert Witness: Litigation Support and Testimony consists of three required online courses totaling 48 hours. 4.8 Continuing Education Units will be awarded to the certificate graduate.
Putting It All Together - Deposition to Trial is an elective designed to synthesize what you have learned in the required classes. This elective is offered in a traditional classroom format.
