THE PROGRAM & CLASS LOCATION
The MS in Counseling-Garden Grove Program prepares you to work in a variety of interesting environments including schools, mental health agencies, government services, businesses, and in private practice. It is designed for working professionals, but is appropriate for anyone interested in earning the degree on a part-time schedule. All classes are held at Cal State Fullerton's Garden Grove Center conveniently located off the 22 Freeway on Euclid Avenue. This degree program features the same high quality curriculum and faculty as the Fullerton campus MS in Counseling program.

PROGRAM FEATURES
Cohort Format
Students complete the Garden Grove program in a cohort format, taking two evening courses each semester. Academic terms include Fall, Spring, and Summer. Fall and Spring semesters are 16 weeks in length. Summer is 10-12 weeks and may include some Saturdays.
Program Duration
The MS in Counseling program at Garden Grove consists of 60 units/20 courses. It will take slightly less than 3 1/2 years to complete the program. Visit

Program Administration
Curriculum, designation of faculty, and academic advisement are managed by the CSUF Counseling Department. Registration and payment of fees are processed through CSUF University Extended Education.
Tuition
Tuition for the MS in Counseling program at Garden Grove is different than the Fullerton campus degree program. The current cost is $750 per 3-unit class. Students complete two classes per semester which is six classes each academic year: fall, spring, summer. Textbooks and other instructional materials must be purchased separately.*
*This program does not receive state tax revenue as part of its funding and therefore is priced differently than the Fullerton campus program. Matriculation in the Garden Grove program is separate from matriculation in the Fullerton campus program, however students receive the same accredited degree.

REGISTRATION & STUDENT HANDBOOK
Upon admission to the program, students will receive registration information for all courses and a Student Information Handbook. Registration, payment of fees, and all other student services will be processed through University Extended Education.
