In our current age of globalization, being aware of cultural differences, maintaining a global perspective, and having fluent English communication skills have become critical qualifications for young people who strive for careers in competitive global markets.

The Leadership Program at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) for international university students is an extraordinary chance to gain an educational and cultural experience of a lifetime. The goal of this summer program is to assess and develop your understanding of leadership and to grow the necessary skills required of emerging leaders today. Through dynamic lectures and workshop activities, this program will provide you with a self-awareness of your leadership style, enhance your English fluency, as well as enrich your knowledge of American culture.

This program of academic and cultural enrichment includes:

• Lectures and workshops delivered by highly trained expert instructors in the areas of leadership, English language, and American culture
• All classes and activities conducted in English to enhance your fluency
• Learn your leadership style and the necessary skills required of emerging leaders today
• Experience Southern California culture from its beautiful beaches, Hollywood, Disneyland, Universal Studios….and more

Participant Qualifications: Qualified participants must be currently enrolled in a nationally recognized partner university with a good academic record and should have an intermediate level or above in English proficiency.

Schedule: Summer 2010 session is currently full. Future dates to be determined.

Program Fees: US $3,732 per student includes:

• Use of library and other facilities on the campus, such as the Titan Student Union.
• Transportation for field trips
• Lodging: double occupancy three-star hotel room (including gratuities). For single occupancy, an extra charge will apply.
• Meals: breakfasts, welcome dinner and farewell dinner
• International Student Service fee and Health Insurance
• Free bus rides in Orange County
